The Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism is partnering with ProPublica and its Documenting Hate project to collect reports of bias incidents and hate crimes in our state.
Drug companies have paid more than $24 million to Wisconsin health professionals since 2009, according to data compiled by ProPublica.
Federal inspection records of Wisconsin nursing homes, September 2009 through November 2012, focusing on only those deficiencies deemed to put residents in “immediate jeopardy.” Data were compiled by ProPublica.
Federal inspections have found serious deficiencies in one-quarter of Wisconsin nursing homes since 2009.
In January, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services began publishing state inspection reports of nursing homes, assisted living facilities and other health care providers on its website. Records are available from July 2012 onward.
