The Milwaukee Office of Violence Prevention and 414 Life, a violence-prevention program based in Milwaukee neighborhoods and hospitals, distributed 1,500 masks to voters at the five polling stations in Milwaukee during Wisconsin’s April 7, 2020 election during the coronavirus pandemic. The masks were provided by the Medical College of Wisconsin and Unite MKE from materials donated by Rebel Converting, a Port Washington company that produces hospital disinfectant wipes.
