Congratulations to two reporters at our partner organizations whose work with us is being recognized!
• Brian Bull, assistant news director at Wisconsin Public Radio, won a regional Edward R. Murrow award for his series, “Menominee Suicides,” produced last year in collaboration with Center reporter Allie Tempus. Hear the series and read the Center report, A Tribal Tragedy.
• Manuel Quinones is a finalist for the national Livingston Award for journalists under 35; it’s the nation’s largest all-media general reporting prize. Quinones wrote Part Four of the Center’s Dairyland Diversity series last year, while working for Capitol News Connection. Read the report: Immigrants help Wisconsin dairy farmers. Will Congress help them?
